Becca Roberts visited Steve during third period today. She said that Steve is not really able to talk right now so people can be prepared for that if they visit. It would be helpful if people wanted to just come and sit with them; Steve would like that. So, if you wonder how to help, you can know that just going to sit for half an hour or an hour is helpful to Beth and to Steve. Beth said she doesn't know how long things might go on like this so sitters would be helpful.
We will put sheets in the mail room in case people want to try to "sign up" for a time when others might not be available.

Mr. Kirkpatrick appears to be in a great deal of pain and is on heavy
doses of pain medication. This is a very difficult time for his
